CONNECT

CONNECT is one of the core values upon which BCA is built. It’s a simple word that often gets overused, and in today’s world with a barrage of digital means at our fingertips, it can actually be quite a challenge to achieve.

We are passionate about connection: genuine, sustained and deep. For us, this is what connection looks like:

Connecting our members to each other:

This includes connecting those in regional, rural and isolated areas; connecting our young people, our seniors; and similarly across gender, sexuality, background, ability and more.

Connecting our members to our Māori, Pasifika and other PoC communities:

This includes ensuring that our members have opportunities to connect with tangata whenua and tangata Pasifika so we can continue to learn, grow and share our rich cultures and histories.

Connecting our members to our wider New Zealand community

This includes connecting our members with those who could support their aspirations and goals and share their creativity across all sectors.
